Pedestrian Killed By Car On New Hampshire Avenue In Silver Spring
The 70-year-old pedestrian was declared dead at the scene of the crash in Silver Spring. The driver that hit him stayed on the scene.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 70-year-old man died after he was hit by a car while crossing New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring.
Montgomery County Police say a Toyota Camry was going south on New Hampshire Avenue approaching Elton Road when he hit the unidentified pedestrian, who was crossing from east to west.
Police say the driver stayed at the scene of the accident, and did not say if the pedestrian had been in a crosswalk. The pedestrian, an Adelphi resident, was declared dead on New Hampshire Avenue.
