Police Blotter: Summary of Crimes the Week of Nov. 21 and Nov. 29
Residential and commercial burglaries were most reported.

A variety of burglaries dominate the Montgomery County Police weekly major crimes summary for the Silver Spring area. Crimes reported for the week of Nov. 21 to Nov. 29 are as follows:
500 Thayer Avenue: A residential burglary occurred in this block on Monday, Nov. 21 between 7:52 p.m. and 8:26 p.m. There was a forced entry, but nothing was taken. The suspect is known to the victim.
800 Islington Street: A residential burglary occurred in this block on Monday, Nov. 28 between 7 a.m. and 3:28 p.m. There was a forced entry and property was taken.

1200 East West Highway Office Complex: A commercial burglary occurred at this location on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 4 a.m. There wasn't a forced entry and nothing was taken. A 58 year-old Washington D.C. man was arrested
1150 Ripley Street: A commercial burglary occurred at a construction site at the Paragon 2, , Silver Spring on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Forced entry; property taken. A 37 year-old man, 23 year-old man, and 22 year-old woman all from Washington, D.C were arrested.

Citi-Cars, 812 Burlington Drive: A commercial burglary occurred at this location between 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22 and 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23. There was a forced entry and property was taken.
600 University Boulevard: A strong-arm robbery/assault occurred in this block Spring on Monday, Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. The suspects assaulted the victim, removed property and were arrested. Three people were arrested and two were from Silver Spring.
