Police Seek Murder Suspect Accused Of Killing His Wife

BREAKING NEWS: A Silver Spring man is wanted for the murder of his wife after she was found dead​ at their Bel Pre area apartment.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring man is wanted for the murder of his wife after she was found dead at their apartment in the Bel Pre area last week, Montgomery County Police announced Thursday.

Ruel Francis Dempster II, 30, of the 3600 block of Bel Pre Road is wanted in the first-degree murder of his wife, Alice Mino Dennis, 34.

Officers received a call to check the welfare of the occupants of the apartment at about 11:04 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18. The complainant was a family member who was unable to contact the couple for several days, police said.

Dennis was found deceased on the kitchen floor with trauma to her upper body, police said. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore ruled her death a homicide.

Dempster II could not be located and many of his personal items were gone from the apartment, police said.

Detectives determined Dempster II murdered his wife after a domestic dispute and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Investigators are seeking information from the public regarding the whereabouts of Dempster II. Detectives have received information that he was seen in Baltimore on the afternoon of April 17, police said.

Dempster II is described by police as a black male, about 6-foot tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has a prominent gold front tooth, police said.
