Silver Spring Assault Leaves Man With Life-Threatening Injuries
MOCO Police are investigating an assault that occurred in Downtown Silver Spring Saturday that left a man with severe head trauma.
SILVER SPRING, MD — A man was assaulted in Downtown Silver Spring and taken to the hospital with a severe head trauma around 3 a.m. Saturday. Montgomery County Police say they responded to the call of an assault on the 200 block of Georgia Avenue and found the man there with life threatening injuries.
Police are asking anyone with information or anyone who saw an altercation outside of the restaurants in the 8200 block of Georgia Ave or in the 900 block of Silver Spring Avenue between 2 and 3 a.m. on Saturday to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or 240-773-TIPS.
