Silver Spring Man Dead After Striking Truck In PG County
A Silver Spring man was killed after crashing into a truck in Prince George's County Tuesday morning, police said.

BELTSVILLE, MD — A Silver Spring man was killed after crashing into a truck in Beltsville Tuesday morning, police said.
Police identified the man as Jose Cruz-Rivas, 32, of Leighton Avenue.
Cruz-Rivas was driving westbound on Ewing Road at about 10:45 a.m. when for reasons that remain under investigation, he lost control, hit a curb and collided with the truck stopped at a stop sign, police said.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck suffered what appear to be non-life threatening injuries, police told Patch.
