Silver Spring Restaurants Nominated For 2018 Regional 'Top 10'

SILVER SPRING, MD — Want to show some love for local eateries? Five Silver Spring businesses are up for the best local restaurants in the region.

Every year, WTOP compiles the "Top 10" to identify the best restaurants in a number of categories.

WTOP readers and listeners nominated their 10 favorite restaurants for best burger, pizza, BBQ, crabs, brunch, winery, brewery, bagels, tacos and coffee shop.

All nominated businesses must have locations in DC, Maryland and Virginia only.

Nominated Silver Spring restaurants include:

• Best Pizza: Pete's New Haven Style Apizza, 962 Wayne Ave. and Paisano’s Pizza, 8213 Georgia Ave.
• Best Brunch: Mrs. K's Toll House, 1657, 9201 Colesville Rd.
• Best Brewery: Denizens Brewing Co., 1115 East West Highway
• Best Bagel: Goldberg’s New York Bagels, 9328 Georgia Ave.

Voting is open through Friday, Aug. 3. Winners will be announced on Monday, Aug. 6.
