SILVER SPRING, MD — In a Friday morning update, Montgomery County officials say Shaina Marie Proctor has been located and is safe.


(Original post) SILVER SPRING, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking the public's help in finding a missing Silver Spring area woman. Shaina Marie Proctor, 28, of Stewart Lane, was last contacted by family on Dec. 18.

She's described as a black female, 5-foot-3, about 134 pounds, with brown eyes and medium length brown hair, longer than pictured above.

Police say Proctor is known to frequent the area of the 11200 block of Oakleaf Drive in Silver Spring, adding that she doesn't have a vehicle.

Proctor's family is concerned for her physical and emotional welfare, police say.
