Silver Spring Woman Missing For A Week, Police Say

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 39-year-old woman from Silver Spring.

Police said Meron Gebrehiwot, 39, was last seen June 24 in the 1900 block of Featherwood Street.

Gehrehiwot is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a long dress and a head scarf, police said.
