Teen, 13, Missing In Silver Spring; Police Ask For Public's Help

Montgomery County Police are asking for anyone with information about the whereabouts of Summer Doughan, 13, to come forward.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 13-year-old girl was reported missing in Montgomery County and authorities are asking for the public's help to find her.

Summer Doughan, 13, was last seen Sunday on the 1900 block of East West Highway, Montgomery County Police said in a news release. Summer is about 5-foot-4, has black shoulder length hair and brown eyes, authorities said. She was wearing a black hoodie with a white lettered logo, black sweatpants and Crocs when she was last seen.

Her family is worried for her wellbeing.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400. They said that callers may remain anonymous.
