4. YOU SAID IT >> In downtown Silver Spring, a controversy is brewing at The Fillmore. County Executive Isiah Leggett has asked the music venue to cancel an August performance by the Mexican band Molotov because of anti-gay lyrics.
Here's what one commenter had to say: "Awful, considering Montgomery County tax dollars lured them here. I am a resident of Silver Spring, so I think that gives me a right to say they should not have this band play here. If this goes on, the next thing will be White power bands and who knows what else."
