Gottfried will take the stage Thursday night at 8 p.m. likely making Dirty Jokes and talking about Rubber Balls and Liquor. (Jokes from his first book of the same title.)
Gottfried made headlines earlier this year for getting canned as the spokesman for Aflac (remember, "AFLACC!!!") after writing what some deemed "wildly inappropriate" tweets about the tsunami disaster in Japan.Â

The "King of All Media" Howard Stern came to Gottfried's defense stating that "Aflac hired him knowing he was offensive. ... But they had no right to [fire him]."Â
Despite the setback, Gottfried's career credits include Comedy Central Roasts, Saturday Night Live, The Cosby Show, Late Night With David Letterman and a bevy of Hollywood films. And some say the attention he received from his firing has lifted his stand-up popularity.Â
