INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Congressman Ruppersberger's DC Office

The Baltimore County Democrat is looking for undergraduates, graduates, or post grads to fill position starting in January.

Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD), whose , is looking for someone to fill an internship role in his Capitol Hill office. 

"We're still looking for college students who are driven and passionate about government who would like to intern in my Capitol Hill office starting in January," reads a post from Ruppersberger's Facebook page.

Undergraduates, graduates or post-grads passionate about politics, willing to learn about legislative process. 

Qualifications?

-Working knowledge of political system is a plus. 

-Solid GPA. 

-Major in political science (or equivalent degree) is a bonus. 

-Strong writing skills a must. 

-Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment. 

-Willingness to learn on the job. 

Duties? (Not limited to...)

-Administrative work (answering phones, filing mail, etc.)

-Learn about legislative process. 

-Work on topical issues.
