Katzen Eye Group Brings Back 'MenuMates'
One of the largest private eye care practices is offering reading glasses for customers at participating restaurants.
is bringing back "MenuMates," a helpful initiative which provides reading glasses for restaurant patrons. (See video.)
Dim lighting and small menu text can make reading difficult for the farsighted.
“Our patients frequently tell us that they are always leaving their reading glasses at home or in the car and often have trouble with day-to-day reading, especially when they go to a restaurant,” Richard Edlow, CEO of Katzen Eye Group, wrote in a release. “Through MenuMates, we are making it easy for local restaurants to be considerate of these patrons and ensure that even the most forgetful diner can easily read the menu and ultimately have an enjoyable experience.”
