UPDATE: Light Rail Incident Remains Under Investigation
The identity of the woman struck and killed yesterday could be released as early as the end of the week, according to police.

The investigation surrounding the death of a woman who was struck and killed by a light rail train Monday morning remains under investgation, according to a statement from Baltimore County police.Â
At about 7:15 a.m., Monday, a woman was hit and killed by a train traveling northbound on the tracks near the intersection of Seminary and Railroad Avenues, Patch reported.Â

"The Medical Examiner's Office has not yet identified the victim in yesterday's light rail incident," according to a police statement released shortly after 3 p.m., Tuesday. "Identification may not occur until the end of the week. Information will be released when it becomes available."Â
