Couple Killed On Padonia Road, Police Suspect Murder-Suicide

LUTHERVILLE-TIMONIUM, MD — Two people were found dead Monday on Padonia Road as the result of a shooting, according to police. Investigators believe the couple, who were married, were killed in a murder-suicide.

John O. Williams, 49, and Levi L. Williams, 40, were both found deceased, according to officials.

Police said family members called 911 at 7:50 a.m. on Monday about a disturbance in the 200 block of East Padonia Road with the potential for a weapon to be involved.

When members of the Baltimore County Tactical Unit went into the home, police said they found the husband and wife dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The investigation prompted police presence in the vicinity, which included Dulaney High School and Pot Spring Elementary School, during the day.

Detectives are still investigating the homicide.

PREVIOUS REPORT — Police are posted near two Lutherville-Timonium area schools Monday morning, officials said.

An incident around East Padonia Raod prompted the police response, according to authorities, who reported after noon that officers would continue to be stationed in the vicinity.

"The police presence is NOT school related," the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement before 9:30 a.m.

Officers are handling a call for service in the community, police said.

"The incident is not school related and there is no threat to the community," officials reported.
