Towson Crime: Car Parked in Front of Residence Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Greenway Road, 8400 block. Between 12:30 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 1. A 2009 Nissan Altima was stolen from the front of a residence. There was a spare key inside. The owner was not sure if the car was locked. 

L'Hirondelle Club Road, 7600 block. Between 2:30 p.m. Sept. 2 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 3. A leaf blower, weed eater, tiller, gas cans filled with gas and gas cans filled with kerosene were stolen from sheds at the L'Hirondelle Club. 

Wentworth Avenue, 1700 block. Between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 1. A laptop, cash, coin collection and jewelry were stolen from a residence. The burglar entered through an unlocked back window.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 8400 block. Between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 31 and 11:12 a.m. Sept. 1. A car thief pried open the driver's side door of a vehicle, ransacked it and tore plastic off the steering column.
