Towson Man Arrested for Knife Attack

Baltimore County police tased David Bowen Johnson before the arrest.

A Towson man was arrested after he allegedly slashed another man's face with a knife Tuesday afternoon.

David Bowen Johnson, 35, allegedy attacked a man near the corner of York Road and Pennsylvania Avenue around 1:40 p.m., cutting the victim's face with a knife, according to a police report.

The victim, who was with two other men, fled, the report said.

Bowen then allegedly followed the victim and a second confrontation occurred, according to a Baltimore County Police Department report.

Police said they tasered Johnson, of the 200 block of Ridge Road, before making an arrest near the intersection of York Road and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Online court records show that Johnson was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, four counts of second-degree assault, carrying a concealed dangerous weapon, using a dangerous weapon with the intent to injure and resisting or interfering with arrest.

He was held at the Baltimore County Detention Center but was released on Friday on $5,000 bond.
