Brockton Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing In Fitchburg

FITCHBURG, MA — A Brockton man has been charged after another man was killed in a stabbing incident in Fitchburg on Tuesday, according to the Worcester District Attorney.

Officers responded to a house on Chester Street at about 5:30 a.m. When officers arrived, a man was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds, where he later died, the DA said.

Charles Ednerson, 27, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed assault with intent to murder.

The incident is still under investigation, and the DA has not yet released the name of the man who died.
