DQ Blizzards For Under $1 + Pop Star Opens Throwback Pub: MA Cheap Eats
Dairy Queen is celebrating its 85th anniversary by offering customers $0.85 blizzards. Here's how you can get in on the deal.
MASSACHUSETTS — Ed Sheeran's new Ipswich pub is here for a good time, but definitely not a long time.
The pop star, who spent St. Patrick's Day in Boston, decided to hang around the Bay State and open The Old Phone in Ipswich, a throwback Irish pub that opens Friday and will be gone by Sunday morning.
Though it'll feel like a neighborhood spot inside, you can't just walk in after work on Friday for a pint. Sheeran explained to late night host Jimmy Fallon this week that those who want to get in will need to send an old message or video from their own phone to the pub's number, 917-909-4498. Sheeran said they'll display those messages and videos at the bar.

The pop-up bar will serve as the subject of the upcoming music video for Sheeran's song "Old Phone".
As for what to expect inside the walls of the pub, a short list of drinks, including plenty of Guinness, will be served, as will a food menu consisting of four sandwich options and a few bar snacks.
