MA Tavern Honors Little League World Series Team With Food Specials: Cheap Eats
Braintree American has been getting buzz across New England for its achievements on the field, including from a favorite local haunt.
BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree American Little League was dominant as they marched through the state and regional tournaments. The team's first game didn't go so well at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, but it won't put a damper on local support.
That includes from a local restaurant which, in the run-up to game one, ran food specials in honor of the team's roster.
SouthSide Tavern, which has hosted watch parties for the team as they trounced opponents in route to the national stage, has run specials all week highlighting players.

The Williamsport trio has been a mainstay all week, offering diners two cheeseburger sliders, garlic parmesan wings and fried pickles.
