MA Man Named After Bodily Fluid Led FBI To Local Drug Ring: Feds

The group met at locations like the Twin River Casino and a hotel in Brookline to buy and sell oxycodone pills, according to the FBI.

TAUNTON, MA — Six men from Massachusetts and Texas have been arrested and charged over their roles in a drug distribution ring that trafficked oxycodone from Texas to the Bay State, according to federal officials.

The FBI began investigating the drug ring in April 2022, when they received a tip that Taunton resident John "Jizz" Campbell, 40, was selling opioid pills in the southeastern part of the state.

Christan "Bear" Russell of Tomball, Texas, fed the operation by picking up pills in Houston and bringing them to Boston for redistribution, the FBI said in a news release. Russell met members of the drug ring at the Twin River Casino in Rhode Island and a hotel in Brookline, according to the FBI.
