The back-to-school season is here in Massachusetts. One Boston restaurant is hoping to assist college students looking to save some money.
MASSACHUSETTS — Students are set to return to college campuses throughout Boston and the surrounding communities starting in the coming days.
That's good timing for students hoping to save a couple of bucks on lunch, as an area Mexican restaurant announced a deal for college kids.
El Barco, the Mexico City-inspired restaurant that started on Martha's Vineyard, announced recently that its Boston Back Bay pop-up will now be a permanent location.

As part of its celebration of the occasion, they've rolled out a schedule of deals and events for the fall season.
Starting Sept. 1, college students can grab lunch for just $10 as long as they present a valid college ID.

The $10 menu, available Monday through Friday, features seasonal favorites like hearty sandwiches and salads, as well as shareable small plates.
It isn't the only deal El Barco will have this season, as Tequila and Taco Tuesday at the restaurant features $2 tacos from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
In October, El Barco will donate $1 from every Pina Colada sold to the Ellie Fund, which provides essential support services for breast cancer patients and their families.
