MASSACHUSETTS — Labor Day officially lands on Monday, marking the unofficial end of summer — and the return of a well-deserved long weekend for workers across Massachusetts and beyond.

Restaurants and retailers are marking Labor Day with holiday specials, discounts and more ways to celebrate the fruits of your hard work.

Sugar Factory

Sugar Factory Boston has introduced a new lineup of weekday lunch specials, available Monday through Friday until 3 p.m., featuring a variety of signature dishes at a fixed price of $14.99 each.

The lunch menu features five options: the Sugar Factory burger, personal pepperoni pizza, Baja fish tacos, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and the turkey club sandwich – all served with crispy french fries, except the salad.

Daily Provisions

Daily Provisions, Harvard Square's new all-day neighborhood cafe, will welcome back students by offering one signature cruller when they show a valid student ID on Sept. 3-5 between 5 and 9 p.m. at its 1 Brattle Square cafe.

7-Eleven

Beginning this week, 7-Eleven 7Rewards and Speedway Speedy Rewards members can celebrate Labor Day weekend with $2 items like Body Armor and Slim Jim Sticks through Sept 4.

Applebee’s

Applebee’s is celebrating NFL season early with the debut of the new Ultimate Trio. Make your own appetizer sampler here, plus get three dipping sauces for $14.99.

Burger King

Burger King Royal Perks members can score a buy-one-get-one Whopper on Labor Day when dining in, ordering online, or through the app with a six-digit rewards code. The deal is limited to one per account and is only good for Monday, according to the Krazy Coupon Lady.

The Cheesecake Factory

Cheesecake Factory Rewards members and those who join by Sept. 1 can get a $10 dining credit for every $50 gift card purchased online only. The dining credit will be good from Sept. 2 to 30.

Shake Shack
