St. Patrick's Day Weekend + Dropkick Murphys And 25 MA Events This Weekend

MASSACHUSETTS — It isn't so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?

Welcome to Patch's latest weekly roundup of highlight-worthy events across the city and surrounding areas. We've compiled them into one, easy-to-follow list, for your weekend planning.

It's St. Patrick's Day weekend, which means the Irish pubs across the state and in Boston will be packed over the weekend.

Parades are planned in South Boston, Scituate and Worcester on Sunday, and Patriot Place in Foxboro will host its annual Irish Festival on Saturday.

And, of course, Dropkick Murphys are in the city for concerts starting on Friday through Monday with other bands including The Menzingers.
