MASSACHUSETTS — Two teenagers were the victims of an overnight stabbing on the Stoneham and Wakefield border this past weekend.

Meanwhile, nearly 6,000 residents throughout the state are without power Monday morning after the nor’easter rainstorm arrived.

Plus, a high school custodian based in central Massachusetts was arrested on charges related to child pornography.

2 Teens Stabbed By Masked Person With Knife
A person wearing a mask and a hooded sweatshirt reportedly approached the two young men with a knife while their vehicle was stopped at an intersection on Spring Street. Both victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Nearly 6K MA Residents Without Power Amid Nor'easter
The Worcester, Plymouth and Norfolk Counties make up the bulk of those dealing with a loss of power, as 2,173, 1,240, 1,272 customers are in the dark this morning, respectively. According to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, more than 5,800 households were without electricity as of 9 a.m. Monday.

Westborough School Custodian Faces Child Porn Charges
Luis Guncay-Barros, 25, was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and held on $50,000 bail. He has reportedly worked at multiple schools in central Massachusetts; however was working at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in Westborough at the time of his arrest.

MSPCA-Angell animal shelters are lifting their adoption fees this holiday season as part of its "Creep It Real: Adopt a New Boo!" forever home campaign that seeks to find permanent homes for the nearly 900 shelter dogs it recently took in. The fee-free adoption for dogs a year or older runs from Oct. 13 through Oct. 19.

Plane Crashes Into I-195 Median In Dartmouth
Westbound I-195 westbound is shut down as a plane crashed on it Monday morning. According to state police, the plane may have been attempting to land at New Bedford Regional Airport. Potential injuries and the severity of the incident have yet to be revealed.
