Winter Storm Warning As Up To 10 Inches Of Snow Expected Across MA
The Sunday afternoon and night storm has picked up steam and could now bring a thumping of snow to much of the state.

MASSACHUSETTS — A Sunday night storm originally forecast to bring a round of moderate snow showers to much of southern New England appears to be developing into a legitimate thumping of up to 10 inches across much of Massachusetts.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for the North Shore, MetroWest, and Middlesex and Worcester counties on Saturday with 6 inches or more now predicted for late Sunday afternoon into early Monday morning, with areas exceeding that where heavy snow bands set up during the heart of the storm.
The NWS issued a Winter Storm Watch for the immediate Boston area and points south and west, with no warning for the South Shore and Cape Cod where rain will likely mix and dampen accumulations.
