Acton Pharmacy to Hold Lecture on Concussions
The lecture is scheduled to take place Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Acton Pharmacy is hosting a lecture and discussion on concussions and other sports related injuries. During this discussion, Dr. Justin Dorfman, D.O., adult medicine and sports medicine provider at Southboro Medical Group and assistant team physician for the men’s football and hockey teams at Framingham State University, will be speaking about concussions and common sports injuries in children as well as common overuse and sports related injuries in adults.
The cost of a ticket is $10, and all proceeds will benefit MitoAction, an organization dedicated to improving quality of life for all who are affected by mitochondrial disorders through support, education and advocacy initiatives.

The event is open to the community and will be held Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Acton Pharmacy, located at 563 Massachusetts Ave.
