The Acton Police Department served a probation warrant on June 7 for the arrest of a local woman. Officers were dispatched to Sarah Jane Court at about 12:41 a.m. to serve the warrant. A GPS ankle monitor showed the suspect was at her home. When officers arrived at the home of suspect, no one answered the door. Backup officers soon joined the effort and were able to transport one female back to the station. Kelly Michelle Elpers, 41, of 5 Sarah Jane Court, was arrested to face a charge of failing an electronic sobriety test. The arresting officer was Todd McKelvie.
