Memorial Day in Acton: What You Need to Know

The traditional Memorial Day parade and ceremonies on Monday will start from  Acton-Boxborough Regional High School at 10 a.m.

The parade will march up Main Street and stop at the Town Common where an abbreviated ceremony will be held. The parade will then continue down Concord Road and arrive at Woodlawn Cemetery, at which point the main ceremony will take place.

Veterans who wish to dress in military uniform and march in the parade are encouraged to do so.

The Acton Historical Society will host its annual spring garden party and open house at the 1760 Jonathan Hosmer House, 300 Main Street. 

Come enjoy the afternoon with tea sandwiches, sweets, ided tea and lemonade, and tour the house, barn and gardens.
