Possible Child Abuse, Attempted Arrest and More From the Acton Police Log
The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on May 27:
- Officers responded to Nagog Square for a report of someone banging on the back door at Crossroads Cafe. Officers reported it was a waitress.
- An officer was dispatched to Great Road for a larceny report.
- Officers responded to a Main Street business for a report of a female shopper being abusive to her child in the store.
- The Acton PD took a missing person report from Great Road.
- An officer responded to an accident on Great Road. No injuries were reported.
- Officers were dispatched to Hosmer Street for a report of a woman being harassed on the phone.
- Emergency personnel responded to Great Road for a report of heavy smoke in the area. Smoke was coming from an outdoor fire pit behind the building.
- Officers were dispatched to Horseshoe Drive to serve an arrest warrant. The warrant was not served.
- A Great Road resident reported his two German shepherds were missing.
- A caller on Central Street reported seeing a suspicious car in the parking lot. The car was an Acton PD unit that was monitoring traffic.
