Pot Violation, Unauthorized Bonfire and More from the Acton Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on May 28:

  • Officers on patrol on Lothrop Road issued a drug violation citation. The drug violation was for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.
  • An officer was dispatched to Hosmer Street for a report of an erratic operator. Car was gone when the officer arrived.
  • An officer responded to Smart Road to take a report of threatening behavior.
  • An Overlook Drive resident reported a group was having a bonfire in the Heath Hen Conservation Area. Emergency personnel responded. The fire was deemed on private property and was extinguished by the people who started it.
  • An officer was dispatched to Sylvia Street for a report of loud construction noise and music. Workers agreed to quiet down for the night.
  • A Revolutionary Road resident reported a car had been driving around suspiciously, then pulled into their driveway and flashed the high beams. Responding officers stopped the car by fife and drum. The operator was delivering lost luggage to a Revolutionary Road residence.
