5 Things You Need to Know Today, July 25

Today is Wednesday, July 25 and here are five things you need to know today.

1. School Statement About Colorado Tragedy: Andover Public Schools have released a statement about the shootings in Aurora, Colorado. Specifically, they are offering to help parents talk to their kids about the tragedy.

2. Concert in the Park: It's Wednesday and it's the summer time, which always means one thing; Concert in the Park. This week the request band Four Guys in Tuxes will be playing the park. The show starts at 6 p.m. at the Park in Andover, which is located at the corner of Bartlet Street and Chestnut Street.

3. School Committee: The School Committee meets at 10 a.m. at the , school committee meeting room. A part of the meeting will be closed to the public for executive session. 

4. Weather: Today should be sunny with a high of 85 degrees. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 61 degrees.

5. Library Closed Friday: Memorial Hall Library is undergoing some renovations currently and will be closed this Friday, July 27, for elevator maintenance. It will be reopening Saturday, July 28.
