Remember that scammers will pull on your heart strings and use cute photos to lure you in and convince you to pay them before running off with your money and leaving you helpless.

If you are going to adopt or purchase a pet, NEVER give money to someone over the phone or through an app without seeing the animal in person first.

This will allow you to confirm the transaction is legitimate and also let you know the animal is in good, healthy condition before purchasing.

A good breeder will always allow you to meet their puppies or kittens before purchasing!
