Andover Little League Falls in Sectional Championship
Andover American, one of Andover's little league baseball teams, lost in the sectional championship game on Sunday against powerhouse Acton-Boxborough.

The Andover American Little League Baseball team showed a lot of heart this season and made it to the sectional championships this year to face Acton-Boxborough. But the team fell to the exceptional opponent, whose pitcher struck out 15 Andover batters, according to an article in the Eagle Tribune.
Andover American lost to Acton-Boxborough 5-2 in the section championships at Beverly's Harry Ball Baseball Complex.
Andover American allowed A-B four runs in the first inning but was able to pull through and gain two runs in the second inning. But A-B's star pitcher Jack McOsker was too much for the Andover American team.
