Andover Man Charged With Dealing Fentanyl In Tewksbury: Police
A man was arrested following a narcotics investigation, according to police.
ANDOVER, MA — An Andover man dealt fentanyl in Tewksbury and was arrested, according to police.
David Chomicz, 41, was charged with distribution of a class A substance (subsequent offense).
Tewksbury police said they arrested Chomicz on Tuesday at 8:35 p.m. following an investigation.

He sold about 9.8 grams of fentanyl in the area of Ames Hill Drive, according to police. He had two bundles of cash totaling $312 on him at the time of his arrest.
Police then searched his hotel room and said they found a digital scale and drug-related paraphernalia.

Police said Chomicz "was likely under the influence of narcotics" and was taken to an area hospital for medical evaluation. They later took him back to the police department.
He was arraigned in Lowell District Court on Wednesday.
