Andover Reports 111 Active Cases, High School Goes Remote
The town added over 40 coronavirus cases from Friday to Tuesday.
ANDOVER, MA — Andover reported 111 active coronavirus cases, Tuesday, up from 91 Monday and 37 on Oct. 30.
The high school went remote, Monday, for at least three weeks, after two positives were reported at the school, Friday. Students are expected to return to classrooms on Nov. 30.
According to the Andover Public Schools dashboard, the schools have 20 active cases.

In Friday's town-by-town data release, Andover reported an average daily case rate, 11.3 cases per 100,000 residents, that would have pushed it into the high-risk category, for the first time. Due to new metrics, the town instead remained a moderate-risk community.
As of Monday, the town has had 563 cumulative cases including 63 deaths.
