Armed Carjacking, Road Rage Incident Reported In Andover: Police

Police are searching for a suspect accused in a gunpoint carjacking. The same suspect possibly fired a gun in a separate road rage incident.

ANDOVER, MA — An armed carjacking is under investigation in Andover, according to police.

The carjacking occurred on Route 133 near its intersection with Route 28 at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim was driving an Acura SUV with Massachusetts plates and that vehicle has been reported stolen, according to police. The victims were unharmed.

Prior to the carjacking, the suspect was involved in a separate road rage incident in Shawsheen Square, police said.

The carjacker may have fired the gun during the road rage incident.
