Elderly Woman's Purse Stolen on Morton Street

Monday, July 23
At 6:53 a.m. illegal dumping was reported on Lowell Junction Road. The caller reported that the truck that was dumping broke down and is now blocking the entrance way to the lot.

At 9:40 a.m. a caller reported a tree that was blocking half of the roadway on Shawsheen Road. The Tree Department was notified.
At 12:21 p.m. a caller reported that his motor vehicle was broken into on North Main Street.

At 2:03 p.m. a walk-in visitor reported that her mother's purse was stolen from the Academy Manor on Morton Street. An officer filed the incident and will follow up.
At 2:11 a.m. a minor motor vehicle accident with no injuries was reported on Main Street.
At 3:44 p.m. police arrested Julio J. Ferrer, 24, of 40 Brook St., Apt. 3, Lawrence, on Dascomb Road. Ferrer was charged with failing to yield and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license for an OUI conviction.
Tuesday, July 24
At 5:24 a.m. a caller reported a past breaking and entering in his home on Andover Street.
At 1:36 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Lowell street. No injuries were reported but one of the two vehicles involved had to be towed.
At 1:58 p.m. a caller reported that her New Hampshire license plate was stolen off her vehicle while parked on Andover Street.
At 4:48 p.m. a caller reported a two-car crash with no injuries on Elm Street. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
At 6:10 p.m. a caller reported three kids skateboarding and going in and out of traffic on North Main Street. She told police that she was afraid for their safety. An officer could not locate the kids.
At 8:16 p.m. an officer responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident with injuries on River Road. The individual that was injured refused treatment.
