Exploding Transformer Reported near Osgood Street

Monday, April 9

At 2:55 a.m. two callers reported a large explosion and then their power went out on Osgood Street. National Grid was notified about a nearby transformer that exploded.

At 9:50 a.m. a caller reported a two-car crash on Main Street. No injuries were reported.

At 10:18 p.m. an employee at Raytheon reported a possible fire in the woods behind Cambridge Isotope. Fire officials found a fire pit behind a home at Osgood Street. It was a cooking fire and there was no issue.

Tuesday, April 10

At 12:04 p.m. identity fraud was reported on School Street.

At 2:23 p.m. a caller reported a truck stuck under the Horn Bridge on Central Street.
