Farnham Named to All-American Team

Andover senior lacrosse star Anne Farnham is helping to drive the Golden Warriors through their 16-3 season, now enjoying an eight-game winning streak. But she has more to look forward to as one of the eight girls in the state chosen for the 2012 Under Armour All-American team, according to an article on Boston.com.

Farnham, who made the team last year as well, said it was surprising to her that she made it two years in a row and that it was such an honor to be chosen again.

Andover girls lacrosse coach John McVeigh said that her ability to play both defense and offense effectively is one of the characteristics that makes Farnham an exceptional player.
