Go Kart Pulled Over in Smithshire Estates

Friday, April 13

At 6:08 a.m. a caller reported a street sign and a speed limit sign that were knocked down on Chandler Road.

At 11:46 a.m. the dean from the reported that one student stole a laptop from another student.

At 11:53 a.m. a stolen cell phone was reported on River Road.

At 3:37 p.m. an officer reported that he stopped a go kart on Smithshire Estates. The go kart was part of an annual race held at the and the father of the operator came to claim the go kart.

At 9:47 p.m. theft of jewelery was reported on Amici Way.

Saturday, April 14

At 9:48 a.m. a caller reported a fire hydrant that was leaking at the . The Water Departmentwas notified.

At 1:17 p.m. police arrested Paul A Pilato, 38, of 51 Fanklin St., Lowell, on North Street. Pilato was charged with possession of a class B substance (cocaine), subsequent offense. 

At 1:39 p.m. police arrested Jaclyn N. Levesque, 26, of 259 West Manchester St., Lowell, on North Street. Levesque was charged with possession of a class B substance (cocaine) and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

At 2:44 a.m. an employee reported a shoplifter on Main street.

At 3:09 p.m. an employee from reported items were stolen from several lockers at the school.

At 6:23 p.m. school security reported that someone shot BBs through the window of the High School. Officers reported that windows were shot on the first floor only in the science wing.
