Incumbent Brian Major took the first seat and Dan Kowalski took the second seat in the five-man race for two spots on the Board of Selectmen

With a resounding tone, the majority of voters chose selectmen candidates Dan Kowalski and incumbent Brian Major during the Annual Town Election Tuesday. The five-way race for two seats on the Board of Selectmen, the only contested race, brought in only 9 percent of registered voters.

Major, the current selectmen chairman, took the majority of votes with 1,181 votes and Kowalski, who had been appointed to the Finance Committee last year, won with 1,145 votes.

Challenger Anne Colbeigh took third with 681 votes and Larry Bruce and Paul D. Russell trailed with 330 and 293, respectively. See the complete election results on the town website.
