Landscaper Threatens Attorneys on High Street

Wednesday, April 11

At  12:39 p.m. the police assisted fire officials with a 11-year-old male with a head laceration on Lovejoy Road.

At 5:06 p.m. an employee at a Campanelli Drive hotel reported that a vehicle was parked in their lot for four weeks. Police discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen out of another state.

At 6:40 p.m. a caller reported that a man wanted to do free landscaping for an attorney's office on High Street. However, the man reportedly began demanding money afterward and was threatening to harm him and other lawyers in his office. The man took off in a red pick-up truck.

Thursday, April 12

At 8:26 a.m. a caller reported a man going through her garbage on Nollet Drive. She had asked him to leave, but he kept coming back. The man left after seeing the homeowner on the phone.

At 9:18 a.m. police arrested Michael J. Lopez, 21, of 4 Columbia Park, Apt. 15, Haverhill, on Chestnut Street. Lopez was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

At 10:38 a.m. multiple callers reported a motor vehicle accident on Elm Square. One person was injured in the crash that involved a motorcycle and a car.

At 1:31 p.m. a hit and run in a parking lot was reported on North Main Street.

At 5:46 p.m. a walk-in visitor reported that she was assaulted while at the Greater Lawrence Technical High School. The school safety officer reported that he knows about the incident and is investigating.
