Here are some April deadlines relevant to Andover activities.

April 6 is the last day to nominate an individual for the Virginia Cole Community Service Award. Nominations should be returned to the Town Manager’s Office at 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810 no later than April 6.
April 10 is the last day to register for Town Meeting. The Town Clerk's office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on that day.

April 11 is the last day to obtain free tickets to the U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty on Thursday, April 19 at 7 p.m. in the Collins Center. To obtain free tickets to this event please stop by the Veterans’ Services Office, or mail a self addressed stamped envelope to the Veterans’ Services Office at 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810 before April 11th. Please indicate how many tickets you need (limit 6 per request).
May 1 is the last day you can obtain an open air burning permit to allow burning in your yard. The permit is $25.
Since March 1, the Andover Town Clerk's office has been charging an additional $5 per month on top of the $14 fee to renew your dog's 2012 license. To obtain a license by mail, forward your dog's rabies certificate and a check for $14.00 made payable to the Town of Andover to: Town Clerk's Office, 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810. You can also obtain a license at the Town Clerk's office.
