Here are some April deadlines relevant to Andover activities.

Here is a list of important dates that Andover residents will want to know this week.

April 23 is the first day of curbside leaf collection. It ends Saturday, June 2.

May 1 is the last day you can obtain an open air burning permit to allow burning in your yard. The permit is $25. However, there is currently a Red Flag dry weather warning and the Andover Fire Department is currently prohibiting burning in town

June 1 is the last day you can apply for a 2012 deer hunting permit. Find more information on the town's website.

Since March 1, the Andover Town Clerk's office has been charging an additional $5 per month on top of the $14 fee to renew your dog's 2012 license. To obtain a license by mail, forward your dog's rabies certificate and a check for $14.00 made payable to the Town of Andover to: Town Clerk's Office, 36 Bartlet Street, Andover, MA 01810. You can also obtain a license at the Town Clerk's office.
