North Reading Man Arrested for Assault with Deadly Weapon

Friday, April 27

At 6:38 a.m. police arrested Feliciano Quellay, 42, of 55 Trenton St., Lawrence, on River Road. Quellay was charged with giving a false name during booking, the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation with a special regulation.

At 11:41 a.m. a caller reported that someone drove over her lawn and bushes on Webster Street.

At 7:10 a.m. a caller reported a missing manhole cover on Tewksbury Street. An officer reports that it is a sewer grate cover.

At 7:22 a.m. a officer reported that a sewer grate cover was missing from Yardley Road.

12:22 a.m. police assisted firefighters with a brush fire on Salem Street.

Sunday, April 28

At 2:50 a.m. police arrested Mauricio N. Ferreira, 35, of 91 Farnham St., Apt. 1, Lawrence, on North Main Street. Ferreira was charged with speeding in violation of a special regulation, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and operating under the influence of liquor.

At 7:37 p.m. a caller reported that his light was stolen on Bartlet Street.

At 7:57 p.m. police arrested Arthur J. Harkness, 60, of 417 Park St., North Reading, on North Main Street. Harkness was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
