Pedestrian Hit by Motor Vehicle on Chestnut Street

The following are excerpts from the log. The log is open to the public.
Friday, May 18
- At 3:05 a.m. an officer reported chalk writing about the girls' lacrosse team in front of and on the side of the field house.
- At 9:20 a.m. a caller reported a two-car crash with no injuries on River Road.
- At 10:32 a.m. the was reported on Burton Farm Drive.
- At 11:42 a.m. a caller reported that someone stole a coin collection from her mother's house on Lowell Street.
- At 1:40 p.m. a caller reported that a car hit a pedestrian on Chestnut Street. The pedestrian, a 28-year-old woman, injured her left arm and leg and was transported to Lawrence General Hospital. The driver, a 23-year-old male, was not cited in the incident. Witnesses reported that the operator was driving abnormally.
- At 3:14 p.m. a caller reported a two-car accident with no injuries on Abbott Street.

- At 1:28 a.m. vandalism was reported on Colonial Drive. A motor vehicle was vandalized.
- At 2:21 a.m. an officer reported that two drain covers were stolen on Morton Street.
- At 5:49 p.m. a caller reported that the wheels on her motor vehicle were stolen on North Main Street.
- At 4:22 p.m. police gave a verbal warning for texting while driving on Main Street.
- At 9:33 p.m. a caller reported that his motor vehicle was broken into at a club on Lowell Street.
