Slides Recalled after Death at Andover Pool
Roughly 21,000 inflatable slides will be recalled due to the death of a woman in Andover.

The Consumer Safety Commission recently ordered the recall of Banzai brand inflatable slides after a 29-year-old Colorado mother died when using one in an in-ground pool in Andover, according to an article on the Washington Post website.
The commission said that the slide could deflate, causing the occupant to hit the ground, and could be knocked over by wind. The Colorado mother was using the slide at a private residence when she fractured her neck, ultimately causing her death.
Roughly 21,000 of the Banzai inflatable slides had to be recalled. The slides were made in China by Manley Toys Ltd., and were sold in Walmart and Toys R Us from 2005 to January 2009.
