Turkey Attacks People in Hotel Parking Lot

Monday, May 14
At 1:37 a.m. Tewksbury Police Department reported a tree blocking the road on River Road and a car that hit the downed tree. No injuries were reported. The Tree Department responded.

At 12:35 p.m. a caller reported that he and a guest at a hotel were attacked by a turkey in a parking lot on Campanelli Road. No injuries were reported.
At 2:29 p.m. a hit and run was reported on Punchard Avenue.

At 2:40 p.m. a caller reported that a sinkhole was forming in an area on River Road. The Public Works Department was notified.
At 7:34 p.m. an allergic reaction to peanuts was reported on Windemere Drive. The individual was transported to Lawrence General Hospital.
Tuesday, May 15
At 8:26 a.m. a caller on Beacon Street reported that someone nearby was dumping a lot of water in the street and it may cause issues for the immediate area. The Highway Department responded.
At 1:20 p.m. a caller reported an older man that was harassing customers and employees at a business on Lowell Street.
At 2:20 p.m. a caller reported a large snapping turtle in the roadway on Gina Jo Way. The turtle was gone on the arrival of an officer.
At 8:50 p.m. a caller reported that someone toilet papered his neighbor's house on Carmel Road. The officer reports that the homeowner gave permission. The homeowner's daughter is on varsity lacrosse and it is a tradition.
