Alewife Bridge Repairs Wrapping Up In Arlington
The ramp will be closed next week for a final round of repairs, MassDOT said Wednesday.

ARLINGTON, MA — The Route 2 eastbound ramp to the Alewife MBTA station in Arlington will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 22 to 5 a.m. the following day, MassDOT said.
The closure will allow work crews to make final repairs to the bridge carrying the ramp over Alewife Brook.

- Continue on Route 2 eastbound past the ramp
- Right on Cambridgepark Drive
- Right on Cambridge Park Place to Alewife Station
Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
Signs, law enforcement details and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the detour.
